  3. When do I need a duct cleaning?

    There are a few things to check before hiring someone to clean your ducts and vents. First, you should check the furnace filter to ensure your furnace is working properly. You can also replace your existing filter at this point to see if that makes a difference. Second, see if you noticed a change in scent or the density of the air in your home. If you feel sick most of the time, then you might want to get a service done on your ducts and vents.   4. How do I know what size of furnace or air conditioner is right for my house?

    Visit our Size Calculator page under the "Resources" section and it will provide you with accurate sizing dependent on your home size & the year of built. Enter your houses’ information and follow the steps until the end. You will receive the best recommendation tailored to your home specifications.   5. What kind of payment methods are accepted?

    We are extremely flexible with our payment methods and believe in an easy transaction. We accept certified cheque, bank draft, money order, e-transfer, debit cards, and all major credit cards such as Master Card, VISA, or American Express.

  6. If I make a purchase today, when can this be installed?

    We offer installation as early as 24 to 48 hours from the time that you complete your purchase order on our website. 

  7. What warranty do you provide with the equipment I purchased?

    We offer the original extended manufacture part warranty with all new purchases. We also add a 1-year Labour installation warranty as a courtesy to all of our installations to ensure your maximum satisfaction and security on all of our installation services.

    To purchase an extended Labour warranty, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase to register it on your products. We offer Protection Maintenance Plans for additional for new & existing heating & cooling systems. 

  8. Who do I contact for service?

  9. Are all technicians licensed? If so, by who?

    All of our technicians are licensed through TSSA with a valid gas license for installations. They are also insured with business liability insurance and WSIB.

  10. How Long does an Installation take?

    Installation time frames may vary and are dependent on the complexity of the job. On a contingent basis, a basic furnace and air conditioning installation can take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours, as appose to a water heater that may take 3 to 5 hours.

  11. Where is your current installation area?

  12. Why didn't Home Trade Standards technicians have the parts needed to repair my equipment?

    It is almost impossible to carry all the major parts required for every repair in our trucks. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure the parts needed are ordered & shipped as quickly as possible. To make the repair process faster, you can let us know any details you can about your equipment or send us a picture of the existing unit type & model.

  13. What brands do you repair & service?

    We repair all makes and models and we back the repair with a 3 months labour coverage & 1-year parts coverage*. 
    *Warranty coverage applies only to the original problem. If a new problem appears it would not be covered.

  14. My gas appliance got a red tag? What do I do?
