Register For Heat Pump Maintenance Program
Frequently Asked Questions
Condo Heat Pump systems also known as water source heat pumps are one of the most common HVAC systems in Toronto condos that provide heating and air conditioning to suites. What makes Water Source Heat Pumps unique from other types of HVAC systems is the reversibility to switch from heat or cool at any anytime during the year.
Condo Heat Pump systems use refrigerants to provide heating and air condition through a refrigeration cycle. Heat Pumps also utilize water to extract or discharge the heat from or to the building water loop that is circulating in a closed-loop system from the building mechanical room to every floor and suite.
There are 4 major components associated with a condo heat pump system: 1. Heat Pump Chassis 2. Electrical Board 3. Blower Fan Motor & Assembly 4. Thermostat & Wirings
There are 5 common heat pump problems we get from our customers in Toronto & GTA area condos. The most common heat pump problems are:
1-No Heat or Cooling. Heat Pump Does Not Turn on.
2-Compressor Shuts ON & OFF Continuously.
3-Thermostat Malfunction. The Thermostat Screen is OFF.
4-Constant Rattling loud noise in the condo.
5-Insufficient Heating & Cooling. No Proper Air Flow in Your Suite.
We offer a full Annual Maintenance program for Water Source Heat Pumps at condos in Toronto & GTA area. Here are the steps when it comes to annual heat pump maintenance appointments:
